TEP Engineering is proud to have contributed HVAC and plumbing design services for the Caritas Center in Santa Rosa.  The Caritas Center, which is operated by Catholic Charities in conjunction with Santa Rosa Community Health, is the anchor of a family support and homeless service center campus in the heart of Santa Rosa.

The 48,000 square foot, 3-story Caritas Center facilitates delivery of an array of services to vulnerable and marginalized individuals and families who otherwise face significant barriers to access shelter, care and nutrition.  The Center’s facilities include an OSHPD medical clinic, commercial kitchen, family support services, transitional housing, homeless services, laundry, gathering areas and offices.

Our engineering support on the project included VRF heat pump HVAC systems, energy recovery ventilators, enhanced air filtration, dedicated outside air systems (DOAS) plus variable speed kitchen hood exhaust and make-up air systems. The plumbing design included a domestic water pressure boosting system, solar water heating and high efficiency (condensing) commercial gas fired water heaters.
