Andy Souza

Andy joined TEP in 2005, and while he has wide-ranging mechanical design experience, he has become a leader in winery and cannabis facility design. Andy’s expertise and passion has led him to be involved in ASHRAE , ASTM and UL committees, including ANSI/ASABE/ASHRAE’s joint standard EP653 “HVAC used for Indoor Plant Environments without Sunlight” (that received ASABE’s 2022 New Standard Development Award), and the proposed UL 4402 “Standard for Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) in Buildings and Facilities for the Cultivation, Production and Processing of Cannabis.”
