About TEP Engineering TEP Engineering, formerly “The Engineering Partnership” has developed a reputation for high quality, detail oriented Mechanical Engineering design while serving the diverse clientele of the San Francisco Bay Area. We provide a full range of Mechanical Engineering services including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, process piping, plumbing and control systems design. We also perform energy studies, Title 24 energy compliance calculations and LEED work. Our projects include wineries, health care facilities, pharmaceutical facilities, hotels & resorts, custom residences, restaurants, apartment buildings, offices, industrial buildings and schools. We strive to provide innovative and functional mechanical designs within the framework of project requirements. Every project has a unique blend of cost, energy, environmental, aesthetics, space and technical considerations. We endeavor to consider all of these factors in creating the most appropriate mechanical design. We have been involved in pioneering unique and energy efficient mechanical designs, such as hydronic radiant cooling for wineries, water source heat pumps coupled to lakes, GeoExchange heat pump systems, advanced heat recovery systems, and indirect-direct evaporative cooling systems. As energy prices have soared, we have found new approaches to reduce energy consumption, optimize energy use and minimize the environmental impact of our mechanical systems. In addition to our strong background in engineering consulting, our staff has over 60 years of HVAC and plumbing contracting experience. This combination of experience gives us comprehensive knowledge of construction related issues and is one of the reasons we are highly regarded by HVAC, plumbing and refrigeration contractors. Many of these contractors team with us on design-build projects. |
